Thanks for the response.
This could be key specific issue as you have tested on multiple machines and tried the latest run-time drivers.

Dongle as HID Device
Hello,
i have a ESX VM with Windows 7. If i plug in the dongle, the device Manager Show the donlge as a HID (Human Interface Device) To install the Driver from the common folger in Programm x86 is not working, that is no 64 bit Driver.
I tested this on my Windows 10 Laptop with 64 Bits Windows.
Any Ideas what i can do? Thanx
Cheers

Re : Dongle as HID Device
Hope you are doing well!
Thanks for sharing the concern, I will try my best to answer the same.
Kindly try to download the latest HASP driver from the below location:
Link: https://sentinelcustomer.gemalto.com/DownloadNotice.aspx?dID=8589947119
Once downloaded install the Driver as an Administrator and then Plug the HASP key.
Hope above helps. For any further concern, feel free to reach out to us at "Technical.support@gemalto.com".

Re : Is it possible upgrade protection key and master key to driverless?
Hello Diuming,
Just a clarification on your first question:
Q1)Is it possible to upgrade protection key and master key to driverless?
It is possible to upgrade a "protection key" to driverless using Sentinel EMS or LicGen APIs, but it is not possible to upgrade the "LDK Masterkey" to driverless.
- The "LDK Masterkey" remain property of Gemalto. Only Gemalto can generate updates for your Masterkey.
- The "LDK Masterkey" have extra functionalities that do require for the "Local License Manager" to be installed as part of the LDK Runtime Installer. So there are no reason for Gemalto to produce a Driverless version of the Masterkey.

Sentinel USB Driver
Re : Sentinel USB Driver
For the mentioned issue please check in Control Panel under "Programs and Features", if the drivers are successfully installed then you should have following entries:
Sentinel Protection Installer 7.6.8
Sentinel System Driver Installer 7.5.9
Also, if you are using any hardware dongle just check in the Device Manager if the connected hardware is visible there.
Though, if the entries are not visible then please send an Email to us over technical.support@gemalto.com or crmprod@gemalto.com to further investigate the issue.
Thanks,
Heena
Re : Sentinel USB Driver
Remove Sentinel Keys or Change Hardware profile
Re : Sentinel USB Driver
I think if you are getting drivers listed in the Control Panel and the key is also seen in Device Manager then that should be enough.
Please do not depend completely on the results of SAM tool.
Also, kindly confirm if you are facing any issues while accessing the license etc.
Thanks,
Heena
Re : Remove Sentinel Keys or Change Hardware profile
Re : Sentinel USB Driver
SAM is checking the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rainbow Technologies\Sentinel System Driver
To tell if the "USB drivers" are installed.
If you don’t have ownership of the registry key (ie: Access Denied) the “USB Driver Installation" is not detected in SAM. (As SAM is not being able to read
the above registry key).
This said,
the SAM (Sentinel Advance Medic) is designed to communicate with
the Sentinel System Driver (Parallel and USB drivers)
and detect following dongles:
Sentinel Hardware Key / Sentinel Dual Hardware Key (USB)
Sentinel UltraPro Key (USB & Parallel)
Sentinel SuperPro Key (USB & Parallel)
But looking at your “screenshots”, you do have the following USB devices, attached and the Sentinel LDK Runtime Drivers 7.55 installed on the machine:
Sentinel HASP Key
Sentinel HL Key
These USB devices & related Drivers (Sentinel LDK Runtime Drivers 7.55) are not supported by the SAM (Sentinel Advance Medic).
If you want to check the content of the attached “Sentinel HASP Key” / “Sentinel HL Key”
Open you internet browser (ie: Internet explorer) and type the URL http://localhost:1247
If the Service “Sentinel LDK License Manager” is started, it will display the interface “Admin Control Center” (ACC).
Then click on “Sentinel Keys” to get the connected “Sentinel HASP Key” / “Sentinel HL Key” displayed.

Olivier
Re : Remove Sentinel Keys or Change Hardware profile
Re : Remove Sentinel Keys or Change Hardware profile
Cannot deinstall Sentinel HASP vendor Suite 5.10.1.17165 (Windows 7)
It was search in C:\Users\kuku\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EX27.629\SENTIN~1.1\Windows\subsetup\
which looks like it had been installed once directly from a ZIP file and had been unpacked using Winrar.
And maybe due to some cleaning up of Local\Temp it got removed. Odd.
How can I get out of this situation? It seems that deinstallaion of this package is necessary before Sentinel LDK can be installed.
